Sheila Nichols
Board Member
Representing: Environmental Health Section, DENR
Ms. Nichols has a
Bachelor of Science Degree from NC State and a Master in
Public Health from UNC Chapel Hill. She began her career
in the Wilkes County Health department in the field of
environmental health in 1984. She is currently a
regional environmental health specialist with the
Children’s Environmental Health Branch.
Ms. Nichols is a member
of the Western North Carolina Public Health
Association/Environmental Health Section and the North
Carolina Public Health Association/Environmental Health
Section.
Ms. Nichols is currently
serving on the Education Committee of the Board.
