Mr. Salmen began his
career in public/environmental health with the
Mecklenburg County Department of Public Health in 1979.
He currently serves as the Program Chief of the
Public Health Pest Management & Environmental
Services Program with Mecklenburg County Health
Department.
Mr. Salmen currently
serves as Chairman of the Board.
Mr. Salmen is a member
of the National Environmental Health Association, the
North Carolina Public Health Association/Environmental
Health Section, the North Carolina Mosquito and Vector
Control Association, the Mid-Atlantic Mosquito Control
Association, the American Mosquito Control Association,
the North Carolina Environmental Health Supervisors
Association, and the Western North Carolina Public
Health Association/Environmental Health Section.
