Representing: Eastern North Carolina

Ms. Yarbrough graduated from North Carolina State University in 1983 with a Bachelor of Science in Zoology. She has been employed as in Environmental Health since 1986 and has worked in Pamlico and Craven Counties. She currently serves as the Health Department Preparedness Coordinator and manages the Children’s Environmental Health Section. She serves on the Craven County EPI, Health Accreditation, and Community Health Assessment teams.

Ms. Yarbrough is a member of the North Carolina Public Health Association/Environmental Health Section (past Chair), the Northeastern Environmental Health Educational District, the Asthma Alliance of North Carolina/Environmental Health Subcommittee Co-Chair, NC Lead ad hoc Committee, and the Eastern District Supervisors Association.
